Biography: Dr. Salary is an Associate Professor of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering as well as the Director of Manufacturing Research in the College of Engineering & Computer Sciences (CECS) at Marshall University. His current areas of research include Advanced Manufacturing, Physics-based Computational Modeling, Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Dr. Salary is a Professional Engineer (PE), an NSF Research Fellow, a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and John Marshall Leadership Fellow. He is a recipient of the College of Engineering Research Award, Service Award, Distinguished Scholar Award, and Pickens-Queen Teaching Award for excellence in research, education, and service at Marshall University.
