The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Marshall University School of Pharmacy offers Bachelor of Science (B.S<\/strong>.)<\/a> and Master of Science (M.S.)<\/a><\/strong> degrees in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences.<\/mark> These programs prepare students for careers in the field of drug discovery and development.  Graduates are prepared for entry level positions in the pharmaceutical industry, academic research laboratories, and biotechnology companies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences is also offered in conjunction with the Pharm.D. (3+4 Program) and M.A. (non-thesis) in Pharmaceutical Sciences degrees . The B.S. \/ Pharm.D. dual degree can be completed in 7 years, while the B.S. \/ M.A. dual degree typically requires 5 years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Students can also complete a minor in Pharmaceutical Sciences by completing 14 credit hours of courses with BSPS or PHAR course designations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)<\/a><\/strong> program at Marshall University\u2019s School of Pharmacy is an ACPE-accredited, four-year professional doctoral curriculum designed to prepare students for clinical practice in pharmacy. The program integrates foundational biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences with advanced experiential learning and early immersion in real-world practice settings, combining classroom study, hands-on labs, and clinical rotations. Several pathways to Pharm.D. admission offered, including accelerated 1+4 and 2+4 prerequisite tracks. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
